With strong ties to the sea, the team at Dublin Boat Tours is passionate about sharing the enriching experiences found on the water. Every member of the team has a rich background in coastal operations and a deep love for the beautiful blue expanse that surrounds our island.
The Bay of Dublin is a bastion of history, with its many stories dating back to the age of the Vikings over a thousand years ago! From the rugged coastline of Howth, the cultural hub that is Dublin, all the way down to the tip of the notorious Dalkey Island, there is no counting the vast number of unforgettable experiences that the 170km of coastline has to offer.
Dublin’s notorious River Liffey is a staple of the area. Explore the river that is featured in many of Ireland's leading literary works, such as Joyce's Ulysses and Finnegans Wake. An integral part of the city and historic mercantile waterway with tonnes to discover, we look forward to exploring it with you!

Heather
Heather is a seasoned expert with over 10 years of experience in the maritime industry. Her passion for the area and its maritime heritage shines through in every tour. With a friendly and knowledgeable approach, Heather ensures every guest enjoys a memorable journey on the water.
Lorcan

Experience, Certification and Licencing
Dublin Boat Tour operates Ireland’s largest fleet of licensed passengers RIBs. Our boats are all inspected every two years by the Irish Department of Transport to ensure they meet the P3 licence requirements.
All of our guides hold Commercially Endorsed Irish Advanced Powerboat Qualifications and on top of this are experienced watersports instructors and commercial marine operatives. Each skipper is trained in marine First Aid. Many of the skippers are also qualified powerboat instructors within the Irish Sailing and Royal Yachting Association accreditation framework.
The crew combine their unique previous experience in education, sailing and powerboat training, marine operations, film and TV as well as the competitive water sports scene to ensure your experience is not only safe but highly informative.
