Is there a restroom on board?
Not on the boats, but public restrooms are located near boarding location.
How cold will it be on the water?
It's usually colder on the water than on land and then there is the windchill factor. Dress warmly! We highly recommend a couple of layers, along with a hat and gloves.
Are children allowed on the boat?
Yes -- we often welcome families with children aboard and carry lifejackets for all ages. The tours are more suitable for children when it's not too cold.
How many people will be on the boat?
We only take six passengers per boat. It will never feel crowded and everyone has a seat.
We're running late! Can you wait for us?
If other passengers are aboard, we have to respect their time and can not delay their departure more by than five minutes. If you're running late, you can try to contact us. Depending on circumstances we may be able to wait for you.
Will we get wet?
Usually, our boats are dry but if it's a windy day, some spray may blow across the deck. We brief you on the conditions before we leave the dock.
What language do you speak on board?
Since we welcome people from many different countries, our tours are narrated in English.
Will I get seasick?
We've never had anyone get seasick aboard our boats.
How fast do you go?
Though the boats can go quite fast, this is not a thrill ride where you have to hang on. We always run the boats at a speed that is safe and comfortable for everyone aboard and stop in many places along the way. Between stops, we'll reach speeds up to 25 knots depending on sea conditions. This allows us to show you many sights on our Adventure Sightseeing Boat Tour of Dublin.
It looks like a bad forecast. Will we still go out?
We closely monitor weather forecasts and radar. Should we cancel a tour due to unfavorable or unsafe conditions we will make every effort to contact you at the phone number or email you provided in your reservation form. You will be offered a full refund or opportunity to rebook.
